As a NOLS Patagonia student and instructor, I have spent many days kayaking through the fjords of southern Chile learning basic and advanced kayak skills.  These skills involved perfecting various strokes, the all important kayak roll, surf techniques, and advanced safety precautions and rescues.  Furthermore,  I was privileged to learn advanced kayaking skills from a Certified Master Instructor.  My time in Patagonia allowed me to practice sea-kayaking as well as whitewater situations.  For the past six years I have been working on my kayak fishing skills in the waters surrounding Nantucket Island.  Hope to see you out on the water!
